From his artistic multidisciplinary background, Gazan has opted this time for the medium of poetry with resistance as the main theme. The inspiration came from his diagnosis; second generation war trauma

The titles of the poems are all the same, based on the countless untitled resistance magazines published during the Second World War in the Netherlands, which were mainly interpreted by means of a certain number of question marks.

The poems describe the open wounds without a specified cause or cure. A collection of profound emotional testimonies contained in poetry, celebrated by the love for language.

Conventions have not stopped Gazan from breaking open sayings and ways of speaking, and then fusing them together in new meanings. The poems are as whimsical as the reflections of thoughts in a single moment.

The reader can find a way through the poetry along the lines of the rhythm and the melody. In terms of content, hardly any sentence offers a reasonable grip and the reader is thrown into numerous depths at the same time, whereby self-reflection sometimes seems the only way out.
